Mug Makeover Workshop with Bradeen Creative

Welcome to the Mug Makeover workshop, where you'll get to create your very own masterpiece! We'll start by providing you with a professionally wheel-thrown mug that's still soft enough to be carved. You'll learn how to make and attach a handle to your mug, followed by the exciting part - decorating it using one of four techniques: carving, painting, stamping, or using sprig molds to create relief surfaces.  I will guide you while you'll unleash your inner artist and create a unique design that reflects your personal style.

Once you're done decorating your mug, I’ll take care of the rest. I’ll dry your creation, fire it to bisque, glaze it with a clear glaze, and fire it again in the glaze firing. This process takes approximately three to four weeks, after which you can pick up your mug at the Bohemian.

The best part? You don't have to worry about any of the preparation or finishing - I’ve got that covered. All you have to do is show up, have fun, and learn some pottery skills and techniques. And in the end, you'll have a functional piece of pottery that you can proudly display or use as a unique gift!
